Student Violin Rental      

Advanced Violin Rental

To Rent Your Violin:

1. Make an appointment to come in, if possible, be fitted (if necessary) and choose your rental outfit.   Call 215-438-9031 or email mountairyviolins@gmail.com   
2. Please allow at least a ½ hour to 1 hour to rent your first instrument.
3. Download and fill out our Rental Customer Information either at home or the store
4. Download and fill out our Violin Rental Contract, same as above.
5. Download and fill out the Pledge for Care & Maintenance, same as above.

 

Use your deposit and rental payments to own your student outfit after 19 payments!
 (21 payments for advanced outfits)
 OR
Apply your deposit and use 100% of rental payments* to buy a higher quality instrument
At anytime during the rental contract
*Does not include tax or Protection Plan (see next page) payments
No charge to trade in your well maintained instrument for the next size, while under contract.

Monthly Maintenance Plan (Optional for student renters only): 
Standard Instruments only:  Violins $6, Violas $6.50, Cellos $10--includes one set of Prelude Strings and one re-hair per year, (a $12, $16 or $23 annual savings.)

Viola Rentals

 

Standard outfit rentals include: Lightweight shaped case with backpack straps, brazil-wood bow and an attractive, pleasing sounding viola with hand rubbed oil finish, seasoned tone woods, and ebony fittings.

*Viola's 14" and under use violin prices.

Advanced outfit rentals include:  Deluxe Arrow case with hygrometer, blanket and backpack straps, brazilwood bow, a beautiful, resonant viola with an attractive spirit varnish, well-seasoned wood maple and spruce, and ebony fittings.

 

      To Rent Your Viola:

1. Make an appointment to come in, if possible, be fitted (if necessary) and choose your rental outfit.   Call 215-438-9031 or email mountairyviolins@gmail.com

Our Policies:

This is a rental contract only and not a rent-to-own plan.  However, if all payments are current:  80% of the first year’s payments, 50% of the second year’s payments and 20% of all subsequent year’s payments can be used as a credit towards buying your viola outfit, or an upgraded viola outfit, excluding sales tax, any shipping and/or insurance paid.

INSURANCE: Our “no tears policy” means all renters MUST carry insurance on their instruments while renting from Mount Airy Violins & Bows.  Insurance costs are included in the chart above.

Cello Rentals

Starting at $40 per month

 

Standard outfit rentals include padded case with backpack straps, brazil-wood or carbon bow and an attractive, pleasing sounding cello with hand rubbed oil finish, seasoned tone woods, and ebony fittings.

Advanced  outfit rentals include:  Thick padded case with backpack straps, carbon bow, a beautiful, resonant cello with an attractive spirit varnish, well-seasoned wood maple and spruce, and ebony fittings.

 

     To Rent Your Cello:
